Children's Horoscope
We take a glimpse into the beginning of a young life. This is a personal report in which your, the parents, questions will also be taken into account as well as possible observations by the child. It is not a dry inventory of planetary constellations, no mere computer report.
The questions might be:
- What does this child need to develop his/her potential?
- What kind of support might be helpful?
- What will come naturally to him/her?
- How can we better understand the background of certain observed behaviours?
The horoscope drawing comes complete with an integrated story. This means that the different facets of the horoscope are not separately described one by one, but are formed into a coherent whole. This rearranges the importance of seemingly independently working planetary positions.
A computer program cannot do this, it's much too complicated. Personal and astrological experience is needed for this. Various factors must be weighed against each other and distinctions made between stronger and weaker effects upon the psyche. It always turns out that the whole picture is much more subtle and multifaceted than the mere summing up of all the factors and planetary positions suggests. In other words: with all of the ingredients one still has to bake a cake. That's why I, with all the horoscope data, write a story with a beginning and an end. Afterwards parents can pose additional questions that I will answer by phone, in a letter or e-mail.
The child's horoscope gives indications, it does not give exact predictions. When studying the drawing we look through the child's eyes at the world as it subjectively experiences it. Ten children in the same situation will experience this situation in ten different ways. From the symbolic language of a child's horoscope the astrologer can determine his/her general view of the world. Thus the parents can gain a better understanding of their child when he/she is bothered by e.g. sleep disturbances, assertiveness problems, hyperactivity, inaccessibility, excessive jealousy, fear of failure or rebelliousness.
But of course there don't have to be any special problems for a request for a reading! Apart from being informative, it is also just a delightful way to obtain a lively description of your child, and to recognise the unique personality of your child, baby or even new-born!
As a parent you want to give everything. Through the horoscope you can see what the child is happy or able to receive, which support is beneficial and what he/she can gladly do without. It can help you to acquiesce to the child's needs, giving way to his/her natural qualities, which is after all the best way of raising a child. Without imposing unrealistic expectations that might stand in the way.
A child is a complex and absolutely unique being. There might be things you as a parent cannot grasp or handle, because the child has his/her own agenda. This may sometimes give you the feeling that you're "doing something wrong". It is quite a relief when, after a horoscope reading, you understand something of the child's own path or his/her own process.
